On Independence Day, the Pakistan Freelance Journalists Association (PFJA) honored senior journalist Mumtaz Ahmed Khan with the Quaid-i-Azam Badge for his role in the Pakistan Movement. The badge was presented by PFJA President Iqbal Yousufi.
Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, who had worked closely with Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah during his student and early journalistic years, shared his memories of that association. The ceremony was attended by numerous freelance journalists, including Dr. Masoom Abedi, Allama Anwar Zahoori, Prof. Mazhar Ali Adeeb, and Imtiaz Rasheed Qureshi. The event concluded with prayers for the continued prosperity of Pakistan.
