PFJA Welcomes Appointment of Kamran Lashari as Punjab Information Secretary

LAHORE: The Pakistan Freelance Journalists Association (PFJA) on Wednesday welcomed the appointment of Kamran Lashari as Punjab Information Secretary.

In a press release, the association stated that Lashari has always shown keen interest in addressing the problems of journalists.

PFJA President Iqbal Yousufi praised him as an “active and effective officer” and expressed hope that his tenure would help strengthen ties between the government and the media community.

ایک پریس بیان میں ایسوسی ایشن نے کہا کہ کامران لاشاری ہمیشہ صحافیوں کے مسائل میں دلچسپی لیتے رہے ہیں۔

پی ایف جے اے کے صدر اقبال یوسفی نے کہا کہ کامران لاشاری ایک متحرک اور مؤثر افسر ہیں اور امید ہے کہ ان کی تقرری سے حکومت اور صحافتی برادری کے تعلقات مزید مضبوط ہوں گے۔

PFJA Welcomes Launch of Waqt TV as a Positive Step for Pakistan’s Ideology

The Pakistan Freelance Journalists Association (PFJA) has extended a warm commendation on the inauguration of Waqt TV, describing the new channel as a meaningful contribution to strengthening Pakistan’s ideological narrative within the electronic media sector. The association noted that the arrival of a serious, policy-oriented news channel had long been anticipated by viewers seeking depth, clarity, and national focus in broadcast journalism.
