Formed in 1979, Pakistan's First Internationally recognized Journalists organization Pakistan Freelance Journalists Association (PFJA) and former member of International Federation of Journalists "There can be no press freedom if journalists exist in the conditions of Corruption, Poverty, or Fear".

PFJA condolence meeting

Quran Khawani and a meeting to condole the death of the renowned trade
union leader, Nasim-ul-Haq Usmani, who died in Karachi few days back, will
be held at Pakistan Freelance Journalists Association (PFJA) office.
Throughout his life, Nasim-ul-Haq Usmani actively participated in the
trade unions' activities and worked hard for the protection of
journalists's rights. He was elected chairman of the All Pakistan
Newspapers Confederation. In recognition of his services he was also
elected member of the National Assembly.
