Formed in 1979, Pakistan's First Internationally recognized Journalists organization Pakistan Freelance Journalists Association (PFJA) and former member of International Federation of Journalists "There can be no press freedom if journalists exist in the conditions of Corruption, Poverty, or Fear".

PFJA condoles Rana Iqbal's death

Pakistan Freelance Journalists Association (PFJA) in its condolence meeting
presided over by PFJA President Iqbal Yousafi on Friday expressed grief and
sorrow over the sad demise of senior journalist Rana Iqbal.
Calling Iqbal an honest, fearless and dedicated journalist, the meeting
observed that the deceased fell pray to the government's negligence and
fellow workers' apathy. Expressing symphaty with the bereaved family, the
meeting prayed for the deliverance of departed soul.
