Senior Journalist Rana Iqbal, who died Thursday at Mayo Hospital after
protracted illness, was laid to rest after Jumma prayers at Mian Sahid
graveyard. Hunderds of people from all walks of life, including journalists
and relatives of deceased, attened the funeral prayers. Iqbal has left a
widow, a daughter and a son in posterity. The Qul of the deceased will be
held on Sunday at 7:30 am at 9-Hajj Park, Sodiwal Quarters, Lahore.

Sunday expressed grief over the sad demise of senior journalist Rana
Muhammad Iqbal.
In a separate condolence messages, they expressed sympathy with the
bereaved family and prayed peace for the departed soul.
Formed in 1979, Pakistan's First Internationally recognized Journalists organization Pakistan Freelance Journalists Association (PFJA) and former member of International Federation of Journalists "There can be no press freedom if journalists exist in the conditions of Corruption ,Proverty or Fear."
