Senior Journalist Rana Iqbal Laid to Rest in Lahore

LAHORE: Senior journalist Rana Iqbal, who passed away on Thursday at Mayo Hospital after a prolonged illness, was laid to rest following Jumma prayers at Mian Sahid graveyard.

Hundreds of people from all walks of life, including journalists, relatives, and friends, attended the funeral prayers.

Rana Iqbal is survived by his widow, a daughter, and a son. The Qul will be held on Sunday at 7:30 a.m. at 9-Hajj Park, Sodiwal Quarters, Lahore.


CM, Governor Express Condolences

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Governor Punjab Shahid Hamid expressed grief over the demise of senior journalist Rana Muhammad Iqbal.

In their condolence messages, they extended sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for peace of the departed soul.
